01 · Receive the invitation
An anniversary is more than a look back
Eighteen years of God’s faithfulness gives us reason to celebrate—and an invitation to go deeper.
It is good to remember what God has done, but we are not called to live in the past. Every testimony of his faithfulness points toward a next step: know him more deeply, trust him more fully, and obey him more steadily.
Christ is not an accessory to the life of the church. He is the Rock, the unshakable foundation for every season. A future that can stand under pressure is built now through a quiet, consistent life with him.
Gratitude for the past becomes faithfulness for the future when we go deeper in Christ.
What has God done in a past season that encourages you to trust him and go deeper now?
02 · Build on the Rock
Dig until Christ becomes the foundation
In Luke 6, Jesus did not simply commend a man who built. He commended the man who dug deep before building. He heard Jesus’ words and put them into practice, so his house was anchored to rock.
Depth grows where presence and obedience repeatedly meet: we come to God, listen to his Word, and bring our lives into alignment with it. This does not prevent the flood, but it prepares us to remain steady when it comes.
Foundation“He dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock.”
Luke 6:48 · ESV
What is God asking you to build more deeply—your prayer life, character, relationships, calling, or service?
03 · Keep digging
Opposition does not always mean the calling is wrong
In Genesis 26, Isaac reopened the wells of his father. When the first was disputed, he named it Esek—contention. When the next was opposed, he named it Sitnah—opposition. Yet he did not stop. He moved, refocused, and kept digging.
At last he reached Rehoboth—room to flourish. He did not abandon the calling because resistance appeared. He remained faithful until God made room. Perseverance is not the absence of wisdom; it is refusing to surrender what God has asked us to do.
Key truth“For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
Genesis 26:22 · ESV
Where have you met contention or opposition? What is the faithful next step—continue, refocus, or find a new way without abandoning the calling?
04 · Redig the wells
Restore the practices that sustain revival
There are wells we must redig: prayer, worship, holiness, God’s Word, evangelism, discipleship, and unity. We do not need novelty as much as renewed devotion to the paths God has long used to form and revive his people.
Busyness, disappointment, comfort, or neglect may have filled in a well. Redigging is an honest return—we remove what blocks it, recover our first commitment, and make room for God again.
Revival is sustained by a church that keeps returning to God’s presence, Word, and work.
Which well—prayer, worship, holiness, Scripture, evangelism, discipleship, or unity—is God asking you to redig this week? What is the first concrete step?
05 · Receive, be filled, overflow
Living water was never meant to end with us
Jesus promises water that becomes a spring within us, rising into eternal life. We come to the Source, receive his grace, and are filled by his Spirit—not to keep the blessing to ourselves, but to carry life to others.
Overflow takes visible form: prayer for someone in need, service without seeking return, generosity, encouragement, and witness about Jesus. What is received in God’s presence becomes blessing in our homes, streets, workplaces, schools, and city.
Key truth“The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
John 4:14 · ESV
What is God pouring into you now, and who should receive its overflow this week?
06 · Choose an outlet over stagnation
A blessing with no outlet becomes stagnant
The Dead Sea receives water but has no outlet, leaving it salty and lifeless. Living water stays fresh because it moves and reaches others. In the same way, receiving without releasing leads to stagnation.
Rehoboth—room for growth, blessing, and influence—is not merely personal comfort. It is stewardship. When God makes room, we ask: How can this space become a place of life for someone else?
Every blessing received can become a blessing shared.
Is God’s water flowing out or stopping with you? What gift, opportunity, or testimony do you need to share?
07 · Begin again
Come back to the Well
If you have stopped digging, it is not too late to begin again. Return to daily prayer. Rebuild the altar. Rejoin the work. You do not have to manufacture the water; you need to return to the Source.
Answer God’s invitation with three commitments: go deeper in his presence, keep digging through opposition, and let his living water overflow into our city.
- This week
Spend 30 focused minutes with God each day.
- This week
Identify one area of your calling where you will not quit.
- This week
Encourage, serve, pray with, or invite one person.
- This week
Write down what God is asking you to build, redig, and release.
Dig deep. Keep digging. Into the overflow.
08 · Pray
A prayer for depth and overflow
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your faithfulness through every season. You are our Rock and our Source. Forgive us when we have treated You as an accessory instead of our foundation, and when we have allowed the wells of prayer, worship, holiness, and Your Word to be covered over.
Give us grace to keep digging through contention and opposition. Give us wisdom to refocus without quitting. Restore deep devotion in us, and make room for growth that brings You glory.
Fill us with Your living water. Do not let Your blessing stop with us. Make our lives, homes, and church an outlet so that Calamba and every place You send us may experience the life of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God’s faithfulness is an invitation to depth: build your life on Christ, keep digging through opposition, reopen the wells of devotion, and let his living water overflow to others.
